The new Pahi 53' model catamaran was specifically designed for Archipel Club by the legendary James Wharram to suit Aegean conditions. Good weather in Greece often means strong winds and rough seas requiring sleek hulls and low windage for safe, exhilarating performance and plenty of deckspace for lounging. Perfectly tailored to cruise the Greek islands, this great multihull has proven itself reliable, comfortable and fun in any weather: your sailing vacation on our yachts will fill you with pleasure and pride. Two Pahi 53’ catamarans (year of built 2005 and 2006) are available for crewed yacht charter and cabin charter cruise.

Your party is made of max. 9 persons in Active formula and 8 persons in Cosy formula.


Active cruise, with skipper

Your group participates to sailing and life on board. While enjoying sea and sun, you are involved in all tasks of everyday life at sea, up to handling the yacht itself if you so wish! Minimum 1 person in your party should be willing to help the skipper while maneuvering. The dinners are usually taken ashore.

Cosy cruise, with skipper & steward

Feel like being pampered? Skipper and steward carry out all the duties: navigating, cleaning, cooking breakfast and lunches, maintaining and operating the yacht as well as entertaining their guests. Of course, you are free to partake in handling the yacht, if you so wish! The dinners are taken ashore.

GREEK ISLANDS CRUISE with skipper

Live a genuine sailing experience on a large Pahi catamaran without having to assemble a party for chartering a whole boat and discover the Greek islands off the beaten track. You will meet new people while retaining your privacy thanks to your independently accessed cabin and private bathroom. While enjoying sea and sun, you are involved in all tasks of everyday life at sea, up to handling the yacht itself if you so wish.

Appropriateness is the only rule! While no experience is required, minimum 1 person should be willing to help the skipper while maneuvering. Breakfasts and lunches are taken onboard while dinners are usually taken ashore.

Note: each of our catamarans can accommodate up to 8 guests + skipper.

Common kitty: 200 EUR per person per week


Payable upon boarding, the common kitty covers shared expenses such as breakfasts and lunches on board, dinners ashore, water, port dues, fuel, end cleaning and the skipper meals. The skipper is the bookkeeper, having all invoices at ready for perusal.

NOTES

  • No sailing experience is required in order to cruise on our catamarans. However you need to be reasonably fit to fully enjoy your trip. In Active formula, at least 1 person in your party should be willing to help the skipper while maneuvering.
  • Our crews speak English and Greek and at least one of the following languages: French, German.
  • CRUISE EXPENSES: as an indication, your expenses will be approx. 200 Euros/person/week in Active cruise and 260 Euros/person/week in Cosy cruise. This amount covers: breakfast and lunches on board, dinners ashore, beverages, port dues, water, fuel, crew's meals. Of course it can be higher or lower depending on your needs and tastes)
  • A TYPICAL DAY : breakfast on board, sailing (average of 2 to 4 hours per day), swimming and lunch, arrival, discover the island in the afternoon, dinner ashore, evening leisure time.
  • TRANSFER to PAROS : by plane or ferry

    A. Landing in Athens

    1. Catch a flight (1 to 2 flights per day) for Paros with Olympic Airlines (www.olympicair.com). Make sure you book well in advance as there are only few seats available. Flight duration: 25 mn. One way fare:
    around 70EUR.
    2. Catch a ferry from either Piraeus (45’ by cab or 1’15 by shuttle from the airport) or Rafina (25’ by cab from the airport). Numerous daily ferries. Book your tickets online on www.greekferries.gr .
